RIP.

My cat Zebulon is a hunter and I hate that.
I feed him more than he needs, but his instinct makes him kill little mouses and birds.
He is very proud of himself and bring back home his trophies.
I’ve tried a lot of things to avoid it but nothing works.
Not letting him going out is not possible after few hours he’s starting to jump every where in the house and scratch everything.
I’ve tried to put a little bell around his neck several times to make the other little animals go away from him but he comes back home without...
I’ve tried to shout at him and not accept his present but.... he doesn’t care and does it again ...
I’m going to burry the bird ...

Very sad! My kitty does that too. She has gotten 3 mice and 2 birds. I try to warn the birds and I took 2 out of the 3 mice away from her but one died anyway...probably from fright. I guess they cannot help it. Thank goodness she only brings her toys to me on the bed. :)

Oh dear... such a pretty bird. I know what you mean, but at the end of the day cats will be cats. Keep feeding him and he might get too slow...
