While we were in London we have been to a musicals : the Book of Mormon, hilarious from the first to the las second. Probably the funniest I’ve ever been. I was afraid to only understand 50% of the show but I would say I understood 90% of it ! ( English is not my tongue)
It is the most disrespectful show I’ve seen, they are joking about absolutely everything.
My husband was a bit chocked ( he is not Mormon but had been in a Mormon school during 4 years... long story), but my daughters and I laught non stop !
@cocobella What I remember was that the actual Book of Mormon has so many weird things in the scripture, about boat people & transcended planets, etc., that lots of the crazy things the missionaries were saying weren’t made up at all! Just saying them aloud is enough to make people laugh (in real life, Mormons are instructed to introduce people to the scriptures slowly, so they wouldn’t tell you about the crazier beliefs until you’ve already demonstrated that you’re open & willing to accept more of their faith- but back when we were kids, my friend didn’t know she was supposed to keep parts of it secret so she told me allllllll the details)
