We are in our fourth week of quarantine in Switzerland.
Here some celery I was cutting to add to my salad.
I was thinking that I’ve always cooked a lot but I realize that before the quarantine we also used to go a lot to restaurants ... so after four weeks of cooking two meals a day for four people plus their extra requests for special cake, dish and so on ...I think that I’ll deserve a restaurant to celebrate the end of quarantine !
But I don’t complain we are very lucky compare to what some people are going through... news on tv are sad.
Hope you’re all safe and wishing us that it will continue !
I too am cooking a lot more than normal and am looking forward to going out to a restaurant when this is all over. We are still able to get home delivery from our favourite restaurants, how about you?

And yes next to the normal dinner, I'm now cooking lunch too. On a WhatsApp group from my hike group we are sharing ideas and recipes. That is a lot of fun because we are a very international bunch and I had to look up spices and ingredients in Google :)
We are in the same quandary. We have been lockdown for 4 to 5 weeks and it's just me and my wife. Thank God we can communicate with our children and friends through video conferencing. Looking forward for better days.
great perspective - I hope people realise that cooking with fresh food is so much better and will continue after this. I make a cracker of a vegan curry today :)
This is a great shot of the celery, it looks like a flower. Lots of cooking here too, I’d like a night out to a restaurant too, at this rate it may happen in June. NY still on lockdown maybe till May is the latest news.
@koalagardens I use to cook fresh and a lot of vegetables too so no change , maybe just one : we only eat local now ! Less choice but it’s good to help the local economy !

It's really bad but today the number of deaths was less than yesterday. 779 today, it's horrible. Haven't seen my kids or grandkids in 4 weeks. Zoom just isn't the same as holding them. 😪
