Fishermen shelter.

Visiting the north of Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe.
We stopped in a village called “Vieux-Habitants” ( strange name it means “old people”), the main beach was full of boats, fishermen and fruits sellers , we continued driving a bit and stopped at another beach called “plage des amandiers” ( almond trees beach ) , nobody on the beach and an unique and old restaurant where we’ve decided to have a lunch : grilled fishes and vegetables/rice … very good.
We didn’t swim, the current was too strong and swimming too dangerous.
