For years I’ve passed this empty house full of 19th century history. It’s been slowly decaying for many years. This is a rare site in historic Charleston. Someone who owns it either will not or cannot restore it. Meanwhile it sits like a ghostly presence amid beautifully restored old house in the next block. So mysterious.
