Dominating the northern end of town is a shopping complex above a wind tunnel of a bus station. On the top floor is a cinema. It is a monstrously ugly building, soul-less in appearance.
Today when the sun shone it looked almost beautiful, as it contrasted with the dark clouds. The silver theme is echoed in the line of cars.
It made me think about how the images on the 'silver screen' influence our lives, and how cars are a symbolic of materialism and our strive for independence.....
What we spend our money on, and the lifestyles we see portrayed by film makers.
How fitting that one of the poorer streets, leads to the place of dreams....
