Daffodill to Daffodil Cross by daffodill

Daffodill to Daffodil Cross

A few years ago the local churches in Alcester got together and planted enough bulbs to create a 150ft cross of daffodils on a nearby hillside. Being a Daffodill I always look out for the cross when we are travelling past. First of all you see the buds appear, then the flowers and later if you know where to look, you can see the leafs still forming the cross until they also die back. I love the cross, but apparently not everyone shares my view, as it features on a site called 'I hate Daffodils'!
Todays walk was a round wander from Wixford church, the low point
was the trek alongside the A46, there must be a better alternative to this bit!
I took loads of photo's, but this one with the Daffodil Cross, completmented by the rape in front was my fav.
This is beautiful! Daffodils have always been my favorite flower. I don't understand why people would put this on a rude page on the internet. Lovely capture!
