Managed to head out into the country
and guess what, the blue skies turned grey :(
Lots of shots would have worked better with brightness,
but this one seems to work OK.
Poppies remind me of my aunt, Winifred Poppy.
She was given the middle name Poppy, after one of her Aunts,
She hated the name, as it was completely out of fashion!
In memory to those who have gone before,
those who loved ordinary lives,
and those who never really got the chance to live.
