I have got a bit behind with the gardening this year
and suddenly i realised that I not only had grass growing in one of my pots, but that it had got as far as going to seed!
I loved the way the sun lit up the seed heads.
The dianthus has been planted -
but the grass has been supplied by nature.
Where it came from, I don't know.
How far did the seeds travel, I wonder?
I love the way that the wild & cultivated work so well together.
How do we decide what is a weed and what isn't?
