The day started grey so we visited a small National trust property close by.
Our picnic lunch was rudely cut short, by one of those showers that never amounts to much, but promises a lot!
When the skies cleared we headed into Lyme Regis for some beachtime.
We stopped and brought a coffee, and we sat and watched the reversing antics of those who had parked along by the beach,including this sporty brass outfit. (I am guessing this is a tuba, but I don't actually know!)
By the look of the number of smartly dressed people leaving the beach area, and the number of instruments, it looked like we just missed a Brass Band performance.
Nice afternoon on the beach, before climbing the hill to reclaim our car.
