Today we journeyed to Somerset to meet up with a friend and see the pub their church has brought, which is being renovated to serve the local community. http://langport-angel.org.uk/
We met up in the parkland adjacent to The Angel, where we we admiring the beautiful lanscape so close to Langport, whose claim to fame is being the smallest town in England.
Having heard so much about The Angel, it was great to be able to visit it, and see the potential this amazing building offers to the community.
Afterwards we sat and chatted for ages over lunch in the Unicorn at Somerton, before admiring the beautiful parish church, and resisting the temptation to spent lots of money in The Courthouse Gallery, which showcases work by Somerset artists.
A great day :)
