A Sense Of History

I was struck by the light streaming through the East Window this morning, just as it has done since around 1865.
The wall painting in this part of the building is stunning, but shooting into the light I lost a lot of the detail, so I tweaked the settings to highlight the sunlight and to reflect the age of the building.

A reminder that we did see the sun today, even if we had a wet evening....
