The New Year is here.
Into the second day and the honeymon is over as I go back to work.
Time then to take down the tree and to put all my much loved decorations into boxes.
Here we have the tacky treetopper from Wilkinsons,
my beloved Father Christmas from Pier (I miss that shop!)
a little angel purchased at a craft fair possibly at Tewkesbury,
the light up tree topper that goes on the mini tree - as seen here http://365project.org/daffodill/365/2012-12-26,
red bauble given by a friend,
drum chosen by one of the children years ago.
snowman made by one of the children.
The grandfather clock - a joke Christmas present for my husband one year as I could never afford to buy a real life size one!
To you - this may be a random collection of Christmas decorations - to my family it is the history of our Christmases past.
Each piece contains so many memories.
