Took my daughter out with her sledge, and saw some interesting sights. I really hope that no-one was injured in this accident :(
We then went up the steep hill at the side of the golf course, a car was failing to negotiate the hill, which was covered in compacted snow, and their grit bin was empty.
We walked through the woods encountering some uncontrolled and very well controlled dogs - sorry if you are a dog walker, I don’t care how friendly your dog is my daughter doesn’t want it jumping up at her. I do wish people would train their dogs!
On the golf course there were remarkably few people sledging, usually with weather like this there are a hundred or so people there. Given the amount of debris left from broken sledges and abandoned bin lids, maybe they had nothing left to sledge on!
Abi enjoyed her first tries at sledging down the hill on her own, but as she was cold we headed for home, just as the sun appeared for a few brief moments :)
Just laughed at this but it isn't very kind really! And I agree with you about the dogs. It's worse when you're out with a dog yourself as people seem to think you really won't mind if their marauding filthy hound jumps up at you.
So sad what people wrote on the car! Sounds like a fun day! As an owner of lots of dogs. I don't even want my own dogs to jump on me so I understand totally.
