Today I went to Claines for the licensing of Revd Jo Musson to her new parishes of Claines and St Georges Barbourne, Worcester.
This picture is taken in St George, Jo is being presented with a frame containing a lovely photo of both the churches she will serve. On the floor you will see gifts she has already been given - beer and flowers!
The clapping hands (far left), may not be good photography, but they show the mood of the day - celebration at Jo's appointment, the new chapter for both churches, and for the sending church, a celebration that a much loved curate and friend has completed her training and her new job is about to begin.
