On the second Sunday in December we hold our Christingle Service and the collection goes to help children of all faiths who are disadvantaged.
It is the first carol service of the year.
We sang the favourites - Hark the Herald Angels sing, Silent Night and O Come All Ye Faithful complete with descant! We had 10 young people singing at this service and they especially enjoyed "Show Me The Way To Shine For Jesus" to the tune of "Show me the way to Amarillo"
This was the moment when the main lights were turned down the Christingles were lit as we shared the Christ light. Magical.
