Today I took my daughter to a new youth club organised by Autism West Midlands. She had great fun, the leaders seem really clued up and it seems very promising. She decorated a swiss role, with the Titanic and then covered it in snow (icing sugar). it made sense to her...
Then we went for a walk to Southcrest Woods - with the cake... She noticed an island in the pool
"I wonder if the Island has got a name. I could call it Autism island...or Autism Spectrum Island, or Toothpaste Island..."
Time to take the cake home...
