Visited Belmont Abbey, as part of the Festival of Churches, a beautiful and tranquil place.
The altar is at the chancel crossing with the Monk's Choir stalls and Blessed Sacrament Chapel to the east. I have never seen anything like these panels. No idea what the technical name for them is - possibly reredos.
