First time back in the tower since early March 2020, and it all happened very quickly!
Following the news of the death of Prince Philip yesterday the church was opened between midday and 4pm to allow people to pay their respects.
A rota was drawn up and each quarter-hour was marked with the slow ringing of a half-muffled bell for up to 5 minutes.
