I took a double-take when I went outside, as there, right by the front door was a bat.
"How strange!" thought I, "that a bat should lurk in full view in daylight. It should be flitting around at dusk or hanging upside down embarrassing its children, erm I mean sleeping...
A few days later the mystery was solved
Apparently, the KHT had placed it there, because it is a garden ornament. Therefore, she had decided, it should live in the garden.
This bat is deserving of a name, so I shall call it...
