Not a moment to stop and take a photo today. Started at 9 this morning and ended at 9 tonight. This BlackBerry photo was snapped late last night as I prepped for today. My dog was clearly unhappy with my computer being out, so she placed her head on the keyboard in an effort to gain attention.
@marlboromaam The prices vary so much from neighborhood to neighborhood. Values went up this year (tax rolls) for the first time in 7 years. This summer is very competitive for anything in move-in condition. I just got a property appraised for the highest price in the neighborhood in many years. I saw a horrible place full of mold the sold in 12 days. Inventory is half what it was last year.
@marlboromaam I'm actually in the "burbs". I do sell some properties by the beach for investment. In fact, been doing a lot of investment lately because the prices have been so affordable. The habitable land area of our county is quite small and people have begun moving back to Florida.
@danette I lived and worked in the Orlando area for six years (83-89). Houses were NOT cheap then, but were sky higher in Maryland when I moved there at the end of 89. Moved to SC in 91 and I've been stuck here ever since. Little country homes never were popular and only sold the "right" kind of people. With the economy, there are less of the "right" kind of people now. It's still sad times in my state for most folks.
@tooki She sometimes tries to push my computer away. Or when I bring it to the sofa, she just looks at me, like "really??". But I welcome her to snuggle next to me. @ariel817 Thanks, Linda! She is a cutie!
