I had to go to the south part of the county today to visit former clients. They wanted to show how they fixed up the house and to meet her mom who had come in from Japan. What an honor! First, I had to stop and pick up some documents and the office was located on a beautiful lake. Of course, I had my camera and I was taking photos of the magnolia flower and then wandered to the lake to surely take some nice shots. A young boy, age 9, was scampering about the shoreline, so I engaged him in conversation. My boys are grown now. He asked about my camera, observing that I must be a photographer because I had a nice camera! What a mature young boy. He told me he was capturing lizards and showed me the baby he had just caught. Of all the photos I took, this will be the treasured one, because he shared a few moments with me!
@anden I don't even know his name! I was careful to not be the scary stranger. I'm glad you enjoyed the shot. The lizard darted away just as I took the photo
@bardejov yes, looks like he got his tail caught somewhere! So tiny.
I just posted a matching picture of the tiny frog my 9 year old caught! I cropped it down so that just the finger shows, but I had the same pic with the frog in the middle of his hand too. :-) Cool post.
@juliedance That's cool, Julie! I'll look for your photo. Similarities are so funny. I didn't crop closer because of the focus on the hand and I liked how it centered on the boy rather than the lizard. You're in Flagstaff? Great place!
