Butterfly eggs by danette

Butterfly eggs

Today I found 3 eggs on the same area of the plant. Having a problem with white fly. I love how the eggs are so delicate and tiny. This is the new growth part of the plant, which the catepillars favor when they are born.
That's really cool - great shot and wonderful detail. I don't think I've ever seen any before... maybe I look at them, but I just don't SEE them.

@pjonas You have to look very carefully on host plants. They look like dots.

@bdb3471 Thanks, Brian!

I love this shot Danette. It caught my eye right away. Love the richness of the colours and the delicateness (if there is such a word) of the eggs on the leaf. The DOF is great too. Beautiful shot.

@ariel817 Thanks, Linda! I look for them from time to time. I planted the bush as a host plant to attract butterflies (which it does!).
@pocketmouse Thanks, Teresa!
@sassik I took several from different angles and the colors were so deep green with this view. Thanks!
@dreams Thank you very much for your kind response!
@myautofocuslife Yes, so tiny, like dots. Nature amazes me! Thanks for your reply!!

@bardejov Thank you. I wouldn't have known either, but we have a great butterfly pavillion nearby, so I created a butterfly garden in my yard and one at the elementary school when my kids were there. It's still there!
