Our City has been working on a street that is 2 blocks long, making it a place for activities and public works of art. While it rained on and off, it should be a nice improvement.
@Weezilou The ArtWalk is permanent. They took a 4 lane road that connects a major road to the hospital, removed two lanes, put a large median down the middle with beautiful large trees and plants. On the side they put a wide walk way with benches and a few sculptures. Over times, they will add more. In November, they will hold a farmer's market there on Sunday mornings. Sometimes they will hold events and close the street. I am guess those events will be at night when you can park at the two office buildings nearby.
