@dyanstevens Apparently, there are only 3 species of pelicans, two of which dive for fish. I would imagine these are both brown pelicans, such as @lisainstpete says.
@rosiekerr Years and years and years! About two weeks ago, a group of pelicans flew over and I commented that I never get to see them. Some stranger said, "they are here all the time". I guess that's relative or they leave when I come!
