V is for Vin

I'm not sure whether French Vs are allowed but you've got one anyway, maybe that would be an idea for another A-Z!
The V sign was invented for the French at Agincourt, so pretty perfect!! Tres Bon!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond allegedly the English archers used the “V” sign to show the French that hey had the two fingers intact to enable them to pull their bow strings. Apparently the French would, if they captured an English archer, cut those fingers off. Unlikely as the French were being slaughtered by English arrows and were more likely to kill any captured archers in revenge, but it’s a good story.
