Saw this little guy loading up its pollen baskets with goodies before I went to my vertebrate zoology class.
Today there's been a shooting in my University's district that killed 3 people, 2 injured, and another shooting in downtown Seattle that killed a woman. These last few days have been tragic, and Seattle has definitely seen better days... And I haven't really had time to think, studying for a final for tomorrow. I'm exhausted!
I'm now documenting the 22nd year of my life through photos. I recently graduated from the University of Washington majoring in biology, but photography is...
Thank you for the follow, David and I'm following you back. I just heard the news on TV this evening and I was stunned to hear of the tragic events. You would never think that of Seattle. Stay safe. I really like your photos. All my best to you on your finals!
Great capture! Sure am sorry to hear about the shootings in your area. I bet it is definitely difficult to concentrate. I wish you all the best on your finals and hope you get some rest!
I looked at this beautiful photo, then I saw your description. David, I'm so sorry to hear that. Two days in a row, that must be very upsetting for you. You have a great eye. Photography is great therapy and glad to see you shared, despite the sad events surrounding you. You still managed to find peace and beauty anyways. That alone says alot. My prayers are with you, good luck tomorrow on your final. I know you will do well.
@cimes1 Thank you for the follow! And yes Seattle is normally very cheery with friendly people. Sad days, sad days.
@d4photo13 Thank you so much Donna! I agree, photography really is awesome. It lets you take a step back, and forget about everything and just admire the beauty around you. Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers! One final down :)
