I know this is gross.
I feel just awful. Here's the story: I discovered that over the winter mice had gotten in to this crate that I stored birdseed in. I emptied out the bin and put it in my garage to soak in soapy water overnight to clean it. My intent was to empty the water when I got home from work the next day and clean it out to store new birdseed in. This is what I found - they drowned! I didn't intend to kill anything! I unintentionally created a really effective mousetrap. :(
