CEHS band concert last night. This is a shot of the concert jazz band (my daughter plays bari sax). The upperclassmen band played an original piece composed for our band. It was titled "The Murderer and the Architect." It is based on the book "The Devil in the White City." A book about the first serial killer in the US (and also believed to be Jack the Ripper). It was a powerful piece and probably the coolest piece of music I have ever heard our high school band perform. It was very powerful! Great night. Congrats to my daughter and her band.
