Sorry not experienced....it's a great photo and she's got a very natural facial expression. Hope someone can help. What about writing it up in the discussion/blog section. There seem to be so many people that are really good with manipulating the software programs.
The shot is great (of course you have a beautiful subject to work with) except too much sunlight. I'm not great with the tech side of things, but I'd say the auto exposure overcompensated for all the black in the shot. The photo editing apps will let you darken the picture but I'm guessing some of the details might be lost.
