I was headed towards the sunset when I had to stop at a less than optimal place to shoot. I've never seen a straight up beam of light coming from a sunset before! I played in photoshop (my new goal for this year) but I really ended up not doing much to this shot!
@amyk Thank you! @vera365 I thought it was! The snow is cool too, it was getting dark ad I played with settings on my camera trying to get the color of the sun correct and thats what it did to the snow! Thanks for commenting!!
What wonderful clouds against that sunset - and yes, quite an unusual sunset - just that neat spot trying to shoot straight up into the clouds. The snow is neat in the foreground.
