Heres a shot of my dad from the 70s I tried to clean it up in LR as a friend recently forwarded it to me. I thought it was appropriate to put it up on what would have been his 76th birthday. He died 23 years ago...amazing the time that has passed and all that he has missed, he was only 53 years old when he died. Seems like yesterday this was taken. In this photo he was with a good friend in Rangeley Maine doing his favorite pastime...fishing!
Time doesn't lessen those memories - how young he was when he died and how difficult that must have been for your family. This cleaned up quite nicely while still keeping the 70's look. Nicely done.
@milaniet thanks! I actually was hoping it would look better but I’m glad someone thinks it’s ok. My dad was only 53 when he died in a snowmobile accident.
Aren't you glad that you've been able to salvage such a memorable photo? Thanks for sharing - and happy birthday to Pops. I think they continue to celebrate, as I do for my departed mother's birthday.
