I drive past this little country chapel every day, and every time I see it, I think of that old song, "Going To The Chapel". The sky was so nice and clear today and our temperatures reached in the 70's. Definitely a day to love. This little chapel probably looks the same as it did when it was first built, back when this this little country town was founded. Hope you have a beautiful weekend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMfrLFirGWc&feature=related
Gorgeous shot with the blue sky and white clouds. Very nice. Instead of the going to the chapel song, I immediately think of the abandoned chapel in the Muppet Movie and now I have "Can You Picture That" by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem playing in my head.
I love photos of churches this one against the sky is beautiful. I think I would feel very welcome there. I'm envious of your temperature. We hit 59 today and it was like a heat wave. We were splashing in the still frigid ocean like it was July. Hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
I think I will be singing that song all day now :-). . .I love how you captured the angles against the blue sky, this is a great shot. Pictures like this help remind me to keep looking at things in a different way
We were just a little cooler than you but still had the same blue sky- Thank you Lord! I like all the angles in this picture and the blue and white is a great contrast. Hope you had a lovely weekend and will be praying for your surgery Thurs.
Lovely angles! Reminds me of last year, I was trying to take a pic of something along those lines and I kept looking up and walking left and right trying to get the right angle and I fell off the pavement hahahaha
The juxtaposition of the siding lines and shadows with the roof angles is intriguing. The white and dark lines pop against the surreal blue sky. I like that I cannot tell automatically that the building is a church.dark In less words: Great composition!
Great color, composition and clarity on this one! It just makes me smile to look up and see a beautiful blue sky....it seems the skies have been gray forever around here! :) Beautiful capture Rick!
I really love the blue sky.....do you use a UV filter?
