As I left work today the sun was actually out, and the sky was patched with beautiful blue along with the white clouds. It was a welcoming sight after all the rain we have been having. As I left the campus where I work, I noticed this beautiful pine tree, and I remembered that I had taken a photo of this very tree several months ago when there was snow on the ground and the neighboring trees were bare. Now everything is bursting with life, and the greens are nice and bright. A nice way to end the work day. I had my six week follow-up with my surgeon this morning, and he was extremely pleased with the progress I have made, in fact, he told me I was way ahead of the game. He discharged me and sent me on my way with the instructions to keep stretching the hand and everything should turn out quite well. Note: I tried posting the link to my February 4th posting of this tree but it did not work. Sorry.
Just go to the photo and hit ctrl c and then paste it to this post after hitting the edit key that will link you. Great photo looks like a painting. It's been the same here, rain and rain and more rain. Even today the sun made a very short appearance and mostly it poured.
This is beautiful with the green tree, the clouds and sky! I really like this picture and the February picture! I like seeing the same tree at different times of the year.
I remembered your photograph of this tree before I read your post. What a difference a few leaves make! It's still just a pretty as it was before but in a fresh, spring way. Congratulations on your clean bill of health- we can thank the Great Physician for that!
Yay! (for extremely happy surgeons!) This would make a fun outdoor Christmas tree...it's perfect!
BTW, yeah, I can't see leaving completely, there are a few people here that I still want to follow, but the daily thing will have to slow down because there just isn't going to be enough time in the day. (But commenting and viewing will be a welcome break from studies I'm sure.) :D
This is great, Rick. It would make a fabulous card. Do you ever send out postcards? Moo.com is the place to turn your photos into cards. Each can be a different picture or you can do 2 or more of the same. Check them out.
This is the site to look at to see the view from "Wind Horse Mountain" http://www.flickr.com/photos/41188800@N00/4373902983/
You can just see the road we were on through the railings :) - just beautiful!
