This is actually one of the photos I took on Monday when I took my Grand-Daughter to see the Indantown Gap National Cemetery. This structure was the Veterans Memorial. It was beautiful, and quiite memorable as you walked through the wide concrete door, stepping into a beautiful concrete and marble garden. Its walls are lined with the names of service men and women who have lost their lives in service for our Country. I took the original photo and played around with it in Picnik, giving it some cool texture and manipulated the focus a bit..
My husband's aunt, a nurse during WW II is buried at Indian Gap National Cemetery. It was a bitter cold day in February of 1999 when we drove to the service. We didn't see this memorial. I wish we had. It looks awesome.
Very interesting. The editing makes it look like bark to me. I like the coloring. My husband really loves Civil War and WW2 history. This sounds like a place we should visit.
Great editing and story of the photo as always Rick, I'm going to look on Google to see if I can have a virtual tour it certainly sounds like a beautiful place.
