On my way home from work on Saturday I passed an antique shop, so I decided to do a quick walk through. You never know what you'll find, and as many of you know, I love to collect things. When my Aunt and Uncle passed away several years ago, I happened to buy a few pieces of Lefton Hand Painted China from their estate. Over the years we have come across a few pieces, but not often, so when we do, we usually buy them. Well I was surprised to come across this piece, a nice candy dish, so obviously I had to buy it. My Wife was please with the find.
It is really really nice and I bet you your wife was more than pleased..what a surprise not only for you finding it but for her when you brought it in..
Very beautiful! I love and own a few Pink glass Cherry Blossom patterned Depression Glass. It had been my grandmothers. As a teen my son broke some of it so I am alway looking on ebay. He still feels bad about breaking a few of the bowls. Funny when they become adults how there ideas change. LOL
@digitalrn - markings on mine aren't clear (looked smeared) but I don't think it's the same. Maybe the platter will be one of my pix in the next day or so and you can see.
