"The flag of the United States has not been created by rhetorical sentences in declarations of independence and in bill of rights. It has been created by the experience of great people, and nothing is written upon it that has not been written by their life. It is the embodiment, not a sentiment, but of a history." Woodrow Wilson
I saw this tattered flag still waving proudly, so I decided to grab a quick photo, and use it as a theme photo. I also thought this quote by Woodrow Wilson fit perfectly.
Now there's a black and white I can get my head around! Wonderful representation of how our country feels right now. My nephew just got home from Afghanistan; he is so thin. Please keep our guys in your prayers.
Fabulous theme photo and love the b&W - but I am sad that a flag so torn has not been replaced. You created quite a mood with this photo!!! Well done! PS Bijou has tripled his weight and is now 6 lbs 4 oz. I love him so much!!!!! He is fun and sweet and full of love and fun! Thanks for asking about him and all the comments....you are the best!
