The Deep Green Sea

Duiring my drive to supper this evening I was enjoying the nice colors brought out by the evening sun. No real significant signs of rain, though they tell us it is a possibility in the next day or so. The temperature today only reached the mid 80's, a nice break from the last few days. As you can see, this field of corn is still nice and green, and the beautiful blues in the sky really highlights this open field with the electric towers in the distance. It just shouted out for a photo.

Dramatic clouds! I saw a field by the interstate today on way home from the lake, and they had the irrigation overhead sprinklers on. I so wanted to stop and shoot that...I get few chances to do the farm thing. But I was late already! Your field here with the tower is s cool!

LOVE this! Beautiful colors & sky.
We are not getting rain, and when it does it's not very significant. My granddaughter drew a pic in our driveway with chalk a few weeks ago - that picture is still there.

gorgeous! i love how you have this cropped and the colors! beautiful view! it has been SOOOO hot here too! we have been in temperatures btw 27 and 37 degrees C for the last couple weeks or so......and no rain...excpet a drizzle the one day :( We have SO many forest fires right now and our town has been thick with smoke. Not nice at all :S
