Josie and I took a much needed vacation this past weekend. We flew out to Indianapolis to meet up with Terry and his beautiful wife Jane. What a wonderful time we had, and what a great cook Jane is! Indianapolis is beautiful, and Terry did a great job showing us around. During th enext few days I will share some of my photos. During my time away I decided not to check or post regularly, giving myself a break completely. well almost. Anyway, we are back home in Pa, and now after a really busy, and chaotic day back at work, I must begin to post again, and comment. This is a shot of the speedway as we approached the airport for landing. That sucker is huge!
Glad you had a good time! Sorry I couldn’t meet up with you! I’ve walked around that track several times in the spring when I participated in the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon. It’s torture when it’s hot!
@lisjam1 Yes, sorry you and Carla couldn't make it. Perhaps next time. I somehow think we will make another trip out there sometime in the future, if Terry and Jane can put up with us again. .
It looks big!! What a great trip for you both. It's a strange but good feeling some time to take a few days off from 365. You'll get back into the swing of things eventually!
