Faith Helps Structure A Community

This is one of several historic churches in town. It dates back to the mid to late 1800's. One of these days I want to tour the inside of them. I'm sure they are gorgeous.
Gorgeous church!

You have the best churches in your area. You really should do a tour. Alot of our churches are from the Pilgrim/Puritan days and really old, but kind of spare. I love the magesty of the churches built in this era.

Wow this is beautiful - I've been wanting to do the same with some of the regional old churches

Isn't it a pitty about the power lines, I find every time I try to get a good shot there is always something in the way. A great shot though.

Beautiful B&W shot and textures, Rick.

I attend a big, old church and it is very inspirational. The big problem is heat. There are Sundays when we are a bit chilly.

What a beautiful huge church. I hope you get inside on a sunny day and capture the stained glass windows.

I have a cathedral shot *just* like this and it's a common thing for these old churches, I think: they're power hungry structures (especially when they're full), so there's no way to capture them without the power lines that feed 'em! Very nice portrait of a pillar of a community!
