She has broken out her gardening shoes. Well actually she broke them out a few weeks ago to work out in the yard, but Josie was itching today to buy flowers. We were out shopping, and she was checking out all the flowers. I did convince her that according to an old wise gardening wizard, it is safest to wait until after Mother's Day to plant flowers. So I have another week, but from today's experience, I know what I have to look forward to next weekend.
Lots of people ventured out today to buy flowers. we went to Costco and got some as well as in some of our local nurseries. to the afternoon was busy with planting. nice to hear that Josie now enjoys gardening.
Looks like they're ready to go! I've got some flowers for my deck and I've to get them into the pots soon. Good shot- the texture shows up well in b/w.
Good capture for the circumstance. I bet Josie is planning on next weekends activity! For our part we usually have to wait until after the long weekend in May as you can almost count on snow or frost!
