Josie had been out working on the morning glory vines, trying to keep them from taking over, but earlier it was too hot, so when the heavy clouds moved in a little while ago, she took advantage of the coolness. In the process she found a "huge" spider. Now keep in mind, to Josie a huge spider could be one barely visible to our naked eye, but to her eyes, that sucker is a monster. Here she broke out the "Bug Defense" and was determined to force him to move out. The little guy, excuse me, I mean the huge monster doesn't have a chance.
I feel the same way about spiders. Sitting at the picnic table a couple of days ago, something, I assume a spider, feasted on my leg six times. It is still pretty awful!
Poor Josie! If I find one in the house it's a goner. But outdoors is spider world and unless it's falling in my hair I do my best to let them be- even in the garden! Of course my dislike of them has subsided greatly thanks to 365. Now they are more of a photo subject than a nuisance. Maybe Josie needs a camera! (o:
I don,t know who to feel sorry for Josie or the spider lol , your morning glory must look beautiful in flower, btw thank you again for all your comments Rick
I guess it depends on the spider. They are beneficial to our ecosystem when they are outside. Those inside spiders, though, are usually tossed outside by me.
