The Kids and Grandkids spent the afternoon with us today, and we had a cookout since they had to work on the 4th. It was hot and humid. Our central air was barely able to keep up, barely keeping the inside temperature below 76. It was around 96 outside. This is a shot of our Daughter Stefanie holding Kiko. She left her puppy at home. Dakota was spayed yesterday, so she was at home resting, and recuperating from her surgery. Kiko used to belong to Stefanie before we adopted him. He still loves her.
Oh so that's what YOUR Kiko looks like! Just a little guy! My Kiko is about forty pounds of "who-knows-what" with a dark chocolate brown seal slick coat. He's hard to photograph. Will try and get some shots of him one of these days.
@jmrittle Yes March, she recently had those done. She hated the task of plucking and so on, so she had them done. Her puppy Dakota is the one recuperating from her surgery. She is a 7 month old Great Pyremees and Rottweiler mixed, weighing in at 75 pounds.
Fabulous portrait, Rick. Hope your heat wave breaks soon. I often wonder how people, especially down here in the South, survived before air conditioning arrived on the scene.
@spair Her tattoos are often the subject of question as to why. I have learned to appreciate tattoos as an art of expression. Good tattoos are definitely an art form, and my Nephew is definitely an artist at it. Some people have a hard time getting past it, but I guess you will have that no matter what form of art that is.
Great portrait! I was just talking with someone who had both eyebrows and eyeliner tattooed...it's a tempting idea, but I can't imagine how painful that would be! :)
