I took Josie to the optometrist this afternoon to have her eye exam and to order her new glasses. While we were in the office we overheard the television broadcasting a severe thunderstorm warning for the surrounding areas. On our drive home the sky was growing darker, and we were hoping to get home before it hit. Just as we stepped onto the back porch it began to rain. The sky looked menacing. Within a few minutes the clouds opened up, and the wind began. Wow, we made it home in the nick of time. The down pour lasted about 20 minutes. We got a good soaking.
I drove home through it. There was fabulous light in front of the clouds coming in from the West ... that beautiful glow. I had decided to leave the camera at home and have a day off: glad you had yours!
