Thought I would share this for those of you who have not yet seen it. Its a six minute film, made entirely of mind blowing time lapse photos taken over a period of six years, in 24 different countries by a photographer and film maker named Sean White (no, not the snowboarder).
A friend and I went for a free viewing of the film, which followed a 40 minute presentation by Sean explaining how the film came to be: He travelled the world for six years working on various documentaries and then ended up building up quite the collection of time lapse photos; he later decided to put them all together into a short film. It was great to get the presentation before hand because it put all the beautiful images into much more context. What's more, we got to watch it twice in a row on a gigantic IMAX screen!
The whole thing is really quite spectacular and the editing and music are just as quality. I suggest that when you watch it (via the link above) you full screen it, make sure that HD is turned on, turn the lights off in the room you're in (if you can), and CRANK up the sound!
