After reading the method, I realized I have one like that. I never knew the method has a name. This one used 10 images. I definitely want to get out and try more like this. This was my first one and the banding in the sky is due to not removing my CP filter. D'oh!

I used this method for the first time a couple of days ago. Not as dramatic as I'd hoped due to the scale of the foreground object:

You don't need expensive equipment.... check this out.
You can do it with any digital camera (darn near)

The article you referenced is more about a specific shot, than the actual method.

here is my first attempt i saw the article as well , this is with a 50 mm 1.8 i tried it at 200m f/4 and still need to practice how to take the shots as well HUGIN can become complicated
