"What is special about a dead tree? Sounds like nothing. But just like a common story you hear all the time. What starts out as an accident turns into something amazing. For over five years now, Day has been photographing the same tree on different days, through different seasons and in different lighting conditions."
I love that! That's one thing I like about photography..... 15 people can take a pic of the exact same thing, and every pic will be completely different. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great idea if we have something that is worth looking at all year round. I'm gonna keep an eye out for something so I can do this too.
@clarissajohal --- It doesn't have to be a tree, it could be a sculpture that attracts people to decorate it or a particatul house or anything that you watch regularly because it catches your eye.
Oh! I LOVE this! I have a massive dead oak tree near my office that I just adore. I go out for a walk and look at it every day. It really is something to see in person. I have even seen UPS drivers stop to take photos with their phones in their trucks! It has been in my project a number of times and I just posted a shot of it a couple of days ago:
It is hard not to want to post a picture of it every day!
I love this sooo much; thank you for sharing. dead trees can be just as amazing as their living counterparts! @autumnseden lovely capture! i can see what you mean!!
