Gail, really like how he meshed his seemingly mundane day job with something he loves to do. His perspective is unique and his vision is awesome. Thanks for sharing. This teaches me to stop complaining(that I don't get to travel to beautiful places for breathtaking landscapes because of young kids) and to live and enjoy the moment. :-)

@ikamera you are so right... it's about appreciating where you are, and capturing just that! :)

Gail Thx for sharing. I can relate a lot to this guy in that NYC is the best stage for art and being a low tech guy I rely shooting from my gut. He's got a brilliant collection.

I love this! Especially since I live in NYC and I've posted photos either of cabs and/or photos that have been shot from the back seat of cab. http://365project.org/mcmary/tags/taxi I've made note of this cabbie's name and hope to someday ride in his taxi!

More about this cabbie--David Bradford has a website and a gallery of photos from his book: http://drivebyshootings.com/gallery.asp

Why does NYC always look so amazing in b&w?? Gritty, real, stripped of the superficial. Love this! Thanks for posting this link!
