Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. When I was growing up, my family raised chickens. When I was quite young (perhaps 3 years old), I adopted a lame hen and kept it from ending up on the dinner table. Wouldn't it have been great to have had photographs of this chicken. This article brings back the memories and also encourages me to take more pictures of my everyday life.
