:') I can now finally say "Egyptian and Proud" !

This is by a singer called Shereen, the song's called "didn't you ever drink from its nile?"
It's in arabic, even if you don't know arabic i'm sure you'll find it to be a very beautiful song and video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZn61rE-Jfc&feature=related "Then you're definitely in Egypt"
Another song about Egypt :)

Btw. Egypt in arabic is called MASR :)

One of the most famous songs about Egypt by Dalida

I'll tell you a little story,
one time when I was in London I offered an old lady help her with her luggage.
After I had helped her she told me that she knew I was Egyptian.
I asked her "how ?", she answered me by saying that her husband's egyptian and she knows them by their kind and warm hearts.

Egyptians are known for their kindness and caring and now I know that will never change :')

What a neat video--especially the visual of catching the airplane in the box. Beautiful song and singer as well. Thanks for sharing (:

Beautiful songs! Thank you for sharing, Sherif. The struggles, and this triumph with all of us. It's been incredible to watch, but more incredible to be allowed into the lives of those here on 365. :)

You're such an amazing person, Sherif. I love how passionate you are when you talk about something - whether it be this, your studies or your friendship with Heba.

@swagih We have some celebrations happening in Montreal, Canada

@swagih That's right. I love your story. You touched her heart and reminded her of her love. That's also why I have been glued to this news.... I met with kindness when I visited Egypt. Also, I could see kindness between you and Heba - your wanting to get her to summer school in Canada - her reaction so full of love for your care. It was lovely. I will be coming back to Egypt because of this experience and everyone will want to come to meet Egyptians. I am so grateful for the warmth I felt for you and fellow Egyptians here, that it made me feel more connected to such a momentous time in history. THANK YOU I'll never forget these days.

Sherif, Thank you so much for sharing the videos. My heart has been touched by the stories, the photos, and now, the music of Egypt. Beautiful songs. Beautiful country. Thank you. May blessings be upon you.

Sherif, do you have any worries of this not being a good thing? I dont pretend to speak from a position of knowledge but it seems as though Egypt risk's losing right's verse gaining them.

Sherif, All the links were wonderful, and such great visuals. And again I want to say we are so happy for where things are right now, and thank you for keeping us all updated as you all went through this trying time.

Sherif, thank you for sharing these lovely images and sounds of the Egypt you know and love. For me, they are the closest I will probably ever get to your fine country. I wish all Egyptians grace and good luck in repairing and rebuilding their country from the ground up. The revolution is over. Now comes the hard work. But you've all been tested, and by working together, you will succeed.
